![]() The fit of the BookBook is great around my naked MBP. In general, it simply feels more solid and unyielding when it’s all zipped up. The spine of this BookBook is relatively rigid compared to my previous case which is great for me since that’s usually the exact spot that I grab my MacBook at. I had always just slipped a few papers under my laptop before, but it’s nice to have a dedicated spot for them now, if needs be. The hidden document compartment is a nice touch. The same style, functionality and high quality materials make the transition from my previous generation BookBook, but there are some subtle updates that are (mostly) improvements over the case that I had long-loved from years past. ![]() It wasn’t until recently that I got an email from 12South notifying me that they had finally released one that would fit it but, boy, was it worth the wait! Having had a BookBook case long ago for my 2012, 13-inch MacBook Pro, I was anxious to get one for my new 14-inch MBP when I bought it on launch-day nine months ago.
